Name of your website? The Shadowed REalm
Your name?
Molly Brewer
Your Location (city, etc)
Seattle
Please give us a short summary of your website?
My website details the Psychic services and classes I offer. I also blog on a different Spiritual subject every Friday, provide links to sites of help and interest, note testimonials from clients and more!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I want to do what I love, help people. I can do this most readily through my Psychic abilities. I started the website so I could draw those clients I could help to me.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website in 1998 when my Shar Pei, Doc, passed away. It was in honor of his life and the joy and love he brought me.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It just 'came to me'. I wanted a website title that named the place where all knowledge of past, present and future is held. 'The Shadowed Realm' is what I was given.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
It comes from my heart. I want someone who visits my website to feel like they have come away with guidance and direction on where their path is leading them.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I just want to continue to do what I feel my life purpose is and my website encompasses that life purpose.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
If at the end of the day I have done some good, I am a success. In light of that, I would say my success outweighs all effort expent.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I don't think I would. I like my site! =)
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
That depends on what that 'big' is. I would like to think I could continue to work on my site myself because it is certainly a representation of who I am and what I do.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Mainly time constraints. For anyone who has never built a website, it is amazing how much time goes into the creating process.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding the proper server for my budget.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Since it's fairly new, I haven't been able to quite guage what has worked and what hasn't. Ask me in six months!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I didn't really have any expectations so I guess it hasn't.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It's been up for about a week and a half and I will continue it indefinitely.
What is your website address?
