Have you ever heard of puja? It is a ritual practiced by Hindus to communicate with their deities. Through a puja, a Hindu may give his thanks and praise to the gods and gurus, much like the Christian prayer.
According to Tsemtulku, pujas cannot change a person's karma, but may move its direction to a more positive one.
