Science experts around the world are predicting that 5 - 10 years from now, earth wouldn't be the place where humans can live. It could be man inflicted, natural phenomenon (super volcano, Sun Storms, Magnetic Poles Shift), or act of God (what the bible says, according to some.

Other cultures like Mayan, predicted in their lunar calendars that the world will end on December 21, 2012.

If every beginning has an end, then does that include life on Earth?

The Mayans is an ancient civilization which have one of the most advanced forms of knowledge and architecture for their time and age which is highly impossible unless there were outside force aiding them.
