If the Mayan calendar will be deemed as truth, then the world will end sometime in December 2012. Wah!!!

Seriously, this does not bother me and I hope it doesn't bother you as well. This end-of-the-world thing has been around here for ages, and the world hasn't ended yet despite the many predictions that it will end in 2000.

What is nice about divination is that you don't have to stick with one method if you feel that that will not work out well for you. There are always methods out there that you can try. Mayans have been well-known for their time-keeping skills. They have accurately measured the length of one year and predicted phenomena in the solar system.

The Mayan calendar, however, became more famous with its prediction of the world. It predicted that the it will be the end of the world in 2012. which is 4 years from now. Sounds creepy?

Another End of the World Prediction

I wonder why people seem to like predicting that the end of the world is near? During the Cold War, people predicted that it would be the end of the World if either the US or USSR attacked. Then, of course, there is the sill Y2K scare. What's funny is that some people actually believe in them. But when the time comes, it just goes.

Today, people are fearing the year 2012, predicted by the Mayans as the year of the end of the world. Is it any good? I dunno.
