Many people that God, assuming He exists, is omniscient, that is, it is assumed that He is all-knowing. It is assumed that all knowledge and in the future is something that God has already known beforehand. In the same breath, a number of people also say that God has given them free will, which is why there are there are evils in the world despite the existence of God. Many times I've already been asked if I believed in a soul. Sometimes I find it funny because the question was unprovoked, making me think if I look suspicious enough not to be assumed as a believer. Most people whose faith depends on the Bible believe that divination is an act of evil as mentioned in the Holy Scriptures. Members of the Russian Orthodox Church also believes in the same idea, except that in Russia, it is believed that divination is OK when it is done from the 6th to the 19th of January. This period is called the Sviatski. The existence of a god has long been the subject of much debate in religion and metaphysics. It has been the source of not only debate, but sometimes harsh arguments that lead to violence and other undesirable instances. I would go even further and say that this debate is one of the reasons why we, as a humanity, move slowly as a community. We are divided amongst ourselves. I was reading this post from a related blog and realized that there is actually a video about a movie from which the post got its title. Positive and negative. Binary 1's and 0's. Yin and Yang. Good and evil. Don't you agree that most information in the world can be simplified into two major states? Don't you think that the world, as a whole, can be possibly defined by a series of two states that are contradictory to each other?
