Ancient civilization has always been an interesting topic to study and discussed with. How did these empires able to built their majestic and towering structures or temples? What were their beliefs, cultures, and tradition? Some of these questions can be answered by what these civilizations left. The Mayan Civilization is one of these ancient civilizations filled with mystic and creativity left a great heritage for the modern world to study. Has anyone suggested that maybe the person(s) who were working on the Mayan calendar got bored or tired or ill or died and that is why they stopped? Is the entire subject interesting to explore - YES! Entertainment!! We spend so much time thinking about when the world is going to end; I'm guilty as well. I did read a great book that explores many different theories - The Mystery of 2012 ... check it out! It is a good book!
