In the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Harry Potter studies, there are other subjects aside from Divination. One of them is the study of the Ancient Runes, a subject where Hermione Graner (friend of Harry) excels.
Later on, I find out that the study of ancient runes has a lot to with divination. How so? Well, there is a thoery that says that runes were the forerunners of the tarot. Is this true? Well, I dunno myself.
