Most of us are normally concerned with science as we understand it - that is to say it consists of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and so forth. But there are several disciplines which might be equally effective but less popular and these include things such as Alchemy, Cosmogony, Astrology etc. They do have a rational basis as per their proponents as you can read here!
